Dr Farrah Othman is an Interventional Cardiologist. She completed her cardiology training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, prior to a 2-year high-volume Interventional Fellowship at the Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth, Western Australia. During her fellowship training, she was awarded the Geoff Mews ANZET Fellows Prize. She has a special interest in complex coronary interventions, young persons, and women with cardiovascular disease and cardiometabolic diseases. Dr Othman is passionate about education, in particular simulation-based training in advanced life support and has been actively involved as a lecturer at University of Newcastle and Sydney throughout her career.

Dr Othman is a keen runner and cyclist. She is passionate about empowering and facilitating her patients to return safely and with confidence to an active life. She can understand and speak some Arabic (Levantine dialect).
